Asi Tava doing wonders for my in laws - good vs hypertension, aging, cancer, hypertension, menstrual cramps

Angono, Rizal  PHL  |  November 16, 2013

As I was entering the gate of our house, my brother in law shared with me a story.  He said that before he buys an anti hypertensive drug Tarka/Tarka Forte (trandrolapril)  which sets him back by P40.00 per day (That is P1, 200 per month.)This is indicated in treatment of essential hypertension.

Now he says, he does not spend that much anymore;  he simply picks three leaves of Asi Tava at the planting strip in front of my house.  My other in law took some branches and planted some Asi Tava in his yard.  Whenever they have to take their Asi Tava, they say they will go Mercury and that means they will forage my Asi Tava plantation.

For high blood the RX is 3 leaves;  for diabetes, it is 4 leaves.  I do not know about arthritis

My other in law who has arthritis was urged to chew Asi Tava leaves too.  Now his arthritis is gone.

Who says that herbs do not have therapeutic value?  What is this?

How to use Ashitaba: boil, add to salad or chew

Ashitaba useful for menstrual cramps, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer  (ladies Ginseng)

Treatment for Cancer and Aging

Ashitaba is abundant in chlorophyll, which may reduce the risk of cancer. The antioxidant properties in the plant make it beneficial for fighting free radicals (damaging molecules that promote aging, destroy tissues and promote disease in the body). Due to the plant's rich content of chlorophyll, B12 and antioxidants, it is recognized as a favorable herb for fighting disease and encouraging overall health. The youthful appearance of the Hachijo islanders is attributed to the consumption of the herb, which appeals to an array of individuals who may not otherwise have an interest in herbs and alternative remedies.

Menstruation and Hormonal Issues

Other herbal uses of the Ashitaba plant encompass symptoms related to menopause and menstruation. Many herbal practitioners believe that the active compounds in the herb strengthens the reproductive organs and assist with endometriosis. In addition, women with PMS, hot flashes and headaches may find relief with herbal supplements containing Ashitaba."
